02
What the Product is
Regulatory Information Management is the process by which medical device and pharmaceutical companies manage product registrations, submissions, and compliance records across global markets. Before this platform existed, regulatory affairs teams tracked this work manually. Spreadsheets, disconnected documents, no conflict detection, no audit trail.
I was brought in as the sole product designer to build this from nothing. The brief was basic wireframes and UI kit. The actual scope became something significantly larger.
03
The core features
-
A global compliance dashboard with an interactive world map and compound filter systems giving regulatory teams real-time visibility across all markets simultaneously.
-
Submission Management — the full lifecycle of a regulatory submission from creation through multi-country conflict detection, workflow templates, document handling, and market authorization, including post-release compliance.
-
Article Management, a relational data architecture for managing complex product hierarchies, including articles, variants, revisions, and groups, with compliance-aware constraints built into every interaction.
-
Automated renewal tracking, portfolio analytics, and an integration pipeline for external PLM systems designed ahead of development and currently used in enterprise sales demonstrations.
Beyond design, I functioned as the product's logic layer, owning every flow rule, every edge case, and every compliance constraint across the full system.
